The Gayest Ex-Gay Ever

As if things weren’t wrong enough with this video already, I’d like you all to take notice of the shimmering ladies’ scarf draped ever so gracefully around Mr. Adam Hood’s neck.

In this video, Hood, a “straight” man who was once gay, presents his perspective on homosexuality (complete with ALL the hand motions you could ever need). His clip is one of four in a series of videos that present differing approaches to homosexuality, through the website RecycleYourFaith, which every week posts a series of interviews that present numerous perspectives on unresolved subjects in relation to faith.  Enjoy this tragic clip and do your best to keep a straight face!

Apparently, this video was an internet sensation a while back, but I just came across it yesterday.

It’s a perfectly precious clip to make you go aww, and an inspiration to all us boys that just liked Barbie dolls better. Enjoy!

Lady Gaga’s “Alejandro” Video Is Out!

At last Gaga’s released her full length video for her single “Alejandro”, which is, according to her, a “celebration of [her] love and appreciation for the gay community.”

Some of my favorite gender bending parts?

• Black and white shots of a muscular guy in a soldier’s cap and fishnets
• Gaga’s new short cropped do and overall look, reminiscent of Bowie, Lennox, vintage Madonna and even a little bit Bono?
• Gaga’s S&M bed scenes with the bowl hair-cutted man in heels and bikini briefs
• The red phallus on Gaga’s crotch, perhaps a nod towards her penis rumors

The video’s also got a whole lot of political and religious statements (still ogling over the deep throating of rosary beads scene here) jam packed into its nine minutes but overall doesn’t tell a distinct story. It’s still fabulous and worth a view…or seventeen. Check it out below and let us know what you think with comments!

“Mac Guy” Justin Long and Mike White, bisexual writer of shows Dawson’s Creek & Freaks and Geeks, star in this hilarious video that proposes a solution to eradicating that awful sex-crazed and frivolous gay lifestyle that everyone’s always harping on.

Music Pick: “I Can Hardly Wait”

“I Can Hardly Wait” made its way into my music radar for one reason: It’s music video. Why?

In the four minute video, two apparently nude women, filmed from their shoulders upwards, face each other. As the movie plays, they apporach each other, and get entangled in a sensual kissing scene, which covers most of the total span of the song.

Yup. The whole video is a steamy lesbian kiss. Don’t believe me? Here’s your treat:

Wow. And I’m not even into women. Well, in case you were wondering this music video is the first to be released from Danish solo artist Frederik Valentin, who’s peculiarly named his band Complicated Universal Cum. I’m not sure how I feel about the name, but here’s his description for it’s inspiration:

“As when I look at the sun knowing that within my reach of mind the exact same sun is the main reason I’m able to think at all. As when I know for sure that nothing I will ever do, think or feel will signify anything to eternity. As when I know that there are wrong days to say something right. As when I know that nothing is wrong or right. As when I know that there is nothing between zero and one even though there is always something in between. As when I know that all I know is that I don’t know. This could be the truth! You may find it depressing? Or even beautiful? To me it’s complicated universal cum. “

Yea…whatever. Valentin describes his music as “fuzzed-out psychedelic spacerock combined with elements of primitive electropunk, noiserock and punkrock attitude” which sounds about right and somehow manages to include almost every genre of music out there…

Valentin’s got a few more songs that you can listen to on his Myspace, which you might like but I personally found to be a bit too aggressive. But awesome video aside, I find this song of his to be quite lovely and hope Complicated Universal Cum continues to make more music (and videos!) of this nature.

“You Belong With Me”: Gay Crush Version

I’ve been changing the pronouns in Taylor Swift’s “You Belong With Me” since I first heard it on the radio. To me, Taylor’s song makes more sense as a gay love story: a young gay woman lusts after her straight best friend. She can’t believe that anyone could choose a dumb boy who can’t dress himself over “the one who understands [her].” (And to be fair, the story makes even more sense as a love story between two young men; I’m just biased and always searching for a pop song that perfectly encapsulates my own high-school experiences of love, loss, longing, and converting my straight best friends.) So there are no words for the joy I felt when my friend–the illustrious James P.–sent me the link to this remake of the “You Belong With Me” music video featuring a same-sex crush.

The video was put on by the University of Rochester Yellowjackets. Michael Pittman stars as the adorable, slightly geeky boy next door infatuated with the studly Matt Francis.
