NYC Pride Weekend is in full swing! We’re reminding you about today’s Dyke March, which steps off from Bryant Park at 5 pm. Tomorrow brings THE MARCH and PrideFest.
Plenty of shows made it on to the list of Official Pride Events. Tonight you can catch the final performances of the 2nd Annual Gay and Lesbian Playwright’s Evening of One Acts as well as Out of the Box 2010: LGBTQ Web Series Festival. The hilarious New York Neofuturists are also taking a break from Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind to bring you Too Much Pride Makes the Baby Go Gay. Tickets for the show are $20 and will go towards advocacy and activism in Uganda.
AfterEllen has a fun guide to a do-it yourself Pride (“go rainbow overboard,” “find a dyke with a bike.”) Since there are also straight people in New York, fellow NYU-er at Zy-Va reminds us that our allies love us, and Gawker offers a Straight Guide to Gay Pride.
